I've had mixed experiences finding pizza in Eau Claire. Tonight we decided to try a new pizza joint on Water Street near UW-EC. Guppy's Pizza has a pretty decent menu offering pizza (whole or by the slice), sub sandwiches, wings, and salads. We ordered out a hand-tossed Super Deluxe pizza and the Guppy Sticks. The super deluxe has a host of ingredients including sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, black olives, with lots of extra cheese. The toppings are absolutely delicious but the key ingredient in my mind is the sauce. Guppy's sauce is a nice balance of sweet and savory with a touch of garlic. The crust is medium thick and soft. I would have liked to have it baked just a little longer to crisp it up but I think the trip home may have steamed the crust slightly. The Guppy Sticks are very puffy and almost like a cheesy pizza. I enjoyed them with the included pizza dipping sauce. I think I would like to try some of the other flavors they offer such as the ranch or BBQ. Service was very prompt and pizza was received piping hot. We will be sampling the wings and other offerings on our next visit. I think this is a great first effort for this new restaurant and I look forward to seeing how they develop. I bet that they will give the other pizza establishments a run for their money. My wife and I just had our first experience. We ordered out. Pizza was done when we arrived to get it. Ordered the four cheese with tomatoes. Delicious sauce, wonderful crust, and a great combination of cheeses. We will stopping in again soon.

It was over an hour and a half before we got our pizza. When I called to see what the problem could be they said "it will be on its way soon". When I originally called to order it they first said it would take one hour and then they said a half hour. To top it off, when we did get our pizza, it was wrong. Our order was not overly complicated. Very disappointing since it was ordered as a birthday treat.

Pizza took 1.5 hours to be delivered and it was cold. We had to heat it up. And even then it was just okay. Will not order again. Sticking to Toppers!

It was good, not great. Based on the hype I was looking for something special. The phone guy was rude, but in a funny way, which is why I ordered. Pizza was ok. People rave about the sauce but a can at festival will serve u as well. The wings were not good.

No one wore gloves, an apron or a hair net while making the pizzas. No one washed their hands after handling the money. Very nice people but we waited 50 minutes after being told 20. Pizza tasted great tho.

Recently, we experienced Guppy's Pizza for the very first time. The Pizza and Cheesy bread sticks were OUT OF THIS WORLD! The BEST I have ever had and definitely the BEST in Eau Claire. The pizza sauce was awesome and the pizza crust was fresh and to perfection. The wait staff was extremely personable, welcoming and very professional. We will definitely be back over and over again.

Delicious pizza! The crust was the perfect thickness, three sauce was amazing, the toppings plentiful. The staff was very friendly and service was fast. I highly recommend it.
